LENINGRAD. CENTRAL SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND DESIGN INSTITUTE OF BOILERS AND TURBINES. TRANSACTIONS. NUMBER 75, 1967 (SELECTED PORTIONS),

Abstract

The effect of operating regimes and design parameters on the flame tube wall temperature is described. Methods of cooling flame tubes are shown. The effectiveness of various cooling modes using liquid fuels was studied experimentally at the Central Boiler and Turbine Institute, and the results are shown. A description is given of fuel nozzle swirl cups and burner devices currently used in Soviet gas turbine engines.
