RESULTS OF BIRD EXAMINATION FOR THE PRESENCE OF ANTIBODIES TO OMSK HEMORRHAGIC FEVER VIRUS IN NORTHERN KULUNDA,

Abstract

Immunological stratum of the North Kulunda birds averages 9.7 percent. The orders Passeriformes (12.9), Charadriformes (11.2), Anseriformes (10.4) have the highest percentages of antibodies. Antibodies are found in birds of 32 species, 41 specimens of those belong to a lake-marsh complex, 17- to a group of birds living in close proximity to human habitations, 16- to a forest group and 6- to a steppe one.
