THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MASS SMALL MAMMAL SPECIES IN THE EPIZOOTIOLOGY OF OMSK HEMORRHAGIC FEVER IN NORTHERN KULUNDA,

Abstract

The characterization of the natural focus of Omsk haemorrhagic fever is given on the basis of virological, serological and experimental investigations. Viruses were isolated from animals belonging to 4 different species. The authors put forward a hypothesis of the polihostal character of the natural focus of Omsk haemorrhagic fever. (Author)
