RESULTS OF SEROLOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF BLOOD OF WILD AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS IN THE OMSK HEMORRHAGIC FEVER FOCUS OF NORTHERN KULUNDA,

Abstract

Hemagglutination-inhibition test was performed to detect specific antibodies against Omsk hemorrhagic fever virus. About 1904 blood samples from small mammals and domestic animals were collected in the natural focus of the Novosibirsk region. Antibodies were detected in the blood of sheep, cattle and a few species of micromammals. The titers of antibodies ranged from 1:20 to 1:320. (Author)
