SEROLOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF THE BLOOD SERA OF SMALL MAMMALS IN AN OMSK HEMORRHAGIC FEVER FOCUS,
Abstract
Serological investigations of muskrats and other small mammals were made. The blood of 459 muskrats and of 323 other rodents was examined. Facts indicate existence of Omsk hemorrhagic fever focus in the place under investigation. OHF virus circulates actively among the small mammalia. The extent of its activity depends on the season of the year and the situation of focus. (Author)
