THEORY FOR THE GIANT SUSCEPTIBILITIES OF DILUTE MAGNETIC ALLOYS.

Abstract

A theory is presented for the complex spin ordering in dilute mangetic alloys which explains the anomalously giant susceptibilities recently observed for dilute La-Rare Earth alloys and for various other dilute magnetic alloys. It is shown that very small magnetic fields can reduce drastically the giant susceptibilities. (Author)
