A HOSPITAL ADMISSION PROBLEM

Abstract

The paper applies linear programming to the hospital admission problem. The patients admitted are determined by assigning costs to admission requests and beds available. The admission requests are classified by the earliest and latest dates the patient can be admitted and the length of his stay.
