MEASUREMENTS OF THE COMPONENT OF REACTION OF THE CUTTS COMPENSATOR AND OF THE BROWNING FLASH HIDER ALONG THE RADIAL AXIS OF ASYMMETRY
Abstract
It is a commonly known fact that the muzzles of the machine guns and automatic rifles tend to rise during a burst of fire. In an attempt to correct this rise of the muzzle, the Cutts Compensator and the Browning Flash Hider have been made to produce a downward reaction on the muzzle. It was desired to obtain measurements of this downward reaction of the Cutts Compensator and the Browning Flash Hider.
