DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF IXODID TICKS IN UZBEKISTAN,
Abstract
The ixodid tick fauna of Uzbekistan is represented by six genera. They are: Ixodes, Haemaphysalis, Boophilus, Dermacentor, Rhipicephalus, and Hyaloma. The ecology and hosts for species from each genus is discussed.
