COMPUTERIZED FACILITIES DESIGN--AN EVALUATION.

Abstract

The computer is just beginning to have an impact in the area of facilities planning. Recently several computer programs have been developed for facilities design. These programs are compared in their usage and an attempt has been made to objectively evaluate each. Both the desirable and undersirable features of the approaches are discussed and some indications as to possible future developments are provided. (Author)
