AN ENGINEERING STUDY OF FIRE PROTECTION RESEARCH.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess available fire research information, review current efforts in fire research, and condense the resulting findings into a statement of guidelines for action. The basic emphasis is on the protection required and the protection being provided by the Naval shore establishment. The two primary areas of consideration are the protection of buildings and their contents, and aircraft crash/rescue activities. (Author)
