THE PHYSICS OF WIND WAVES,

Abstract

It is shown how dimensions of wind waves are calculated, based on a specified wind speed, time of its influence on the surface of the sea (or a lake), and assigned local conditions such as the depth of the sea, and the distance from shore from which the wind is blowing.
