CONTEMPORARY STAGE OF THE REVOLUTION IN MILITARY AFFAIRS AND DEMANDS ON MILITARY CADRES,

Abstract

The article discusses the continuing changes in military science due to the increasing complexity of advanced technology and the growth in individual responsibility for the success of military actions entailed by modern weapons and material. The use of automation and computer techniques as important tools in command of forces is emphasized as is the need for sound and continuing education both in military specialities and in the moral and psychological training of personnel. Attitudes and personal traits with positive and negative effects on military effectiveness are mentioned. (Author)
