ABOUT CERTAIN EXPLICIT ITERATION METHODS FOR SOLVING A MULTIDIMENSIONAL BIHARMONIC EQUATION,

Abstract

Two explicit iterative methods are considered for the solution of the difference analog of a multidimensional biharmonic equation in a domain having a contour parallel to the coordinate plane, when a function and its normal derivative are given on the domain boundary. The convergence of the iterative processes constructed is proved and an estimation given of the rate of convergence of the processes. (Author)
