MICROHETEROGENITY OF SINGLE-PHASE ALPHA-ALLOYS OF TITANIUM ACCORDING TO EQUILIBRIUM PHASE DIAGRAMS,

Abstract

By method of complex phase shift analysis it is shown that single-phase alpha-alloys of titanium, according to equilibrium phase diagrams, are not uniform. Microheterogeneity revealed in them is not reflected by phase diagram and is represented by segregates with lattice of alpha-titanium, formed as a result of accelerated diffusion in places with crystal lattice defects.
