FORMULA FOR CALCULATING THE VISCOSITY OF PETROLEUM OILS AT LOW TEMPERATURES,

Abstract

In order to study the dependence of the viscosity on temperature of lubricating fractions in individual groups of hydrocarbons separated from these fractions and to create a mathematical expression which would characterize this dependence, the viscosity/temperature properties of certain distillates were investigated. The distillates included Balakhany crude oil (MK-8, machine SU, turbine L), viscosin, and also individual groups of hydrocarbons separated from these distillates and various compositions of these groups of hydrocarbons in a broad temperature interval (-50C-100C).
