PULSE PHOTOEXCITATION OF PHOTOCHROMATIC SPIROPYRANS (Impulsnoe Fotovozbuzhenie Fotokhromnykh Spiropiranov),

Abstract

An investigation was made of the behavior of nitro substituted 1',3',3'-trimethyl spiro(2H-1-benzopyran-2-2'-indoline) after pulse photoexcitation at room temperature using a device which enables the photographic recording of the spectra of the intermediate forms after the irradiation of samples. Certain experiments on the kinetics of changes of these forms at different wave-lengths were conducted with photoelectric pulse instruments. (Author)
