ONE-DIMENSIONAL FLOWS IN ELECTROGASDYNAMICS (Odnomerniya Techeniya v Elektrogazodinamike),

Abstract

One- dimensional electrogasdynamic flow is examined and conditions are formulated for the transition through the speed of sound. The concept of the effectiveness of the electrogasdynamic energy conversion process is introduced and an analytic expression is given for the efficiency. A comparison is made between the theoretical results and those obtained from experiments. (Author)
