PROGRAM TO COMPUTE ARRAY RESPONSE SURFACES.

Abstract

BEAMPLOT is a FORTRAN program designed to simulate the response of a general volume array to an incoming plane wave. The program is normally used with a three-dimensional plot routine to display output values as a response surface. The program is useful in studying the dependence of the response of an array-beamformer combination on signal frequency, beamforming delays and hydrophone weighting. (Author)
