HIGH PRESSURE INORGANIC AND ORGANOMETALLIC SYNTHESES.
Abstract
A summary of the author's publications and results are given on the use of high pressures in synthesizing compounds such as F3SiCo(CO)4, OPF3, SPF3, etc. Syntheses of compounds such as 2(Bu4N)(+), (SiF4Cl2)(-2), and Cl2Si(2,2'-dipyridyl)2 have also been carried out. Physical, spectroscopic, structural and chemical properties of the compounds have been investigated in detail and are described. (Author)
