PENETRATION DEPTH AND BOUNDARIES OF A CIRCULAR TURBULENT GAS DIFFUSION FLAME IN THE TRANSVERSE FLOW,

Abstract

The study of flame propagation and its boundary limits are of interest in the design of furnace equipment and other heating apparatus. The investigation deals with only a portion of the complex problem, namely, the study of the combustion process of gas escaping into surrounding space and into a transverse flow of air. (Author)
