Abstract

The state of knowledge of the kinetics and mechanism of reactions of concentrated ozone is reviewed under the following headings: (1) kinetics and mechanism of ozone decomposition in the gas phase; (2) kinetic stability of gaseous ozone; (3) kinetic stability of liquid ozone; (4) catalytic decomposition of gaseous ozone; (5) catalytic decomposition of liquid ozone; (6) chemical reactions of ozone; (7) oxidation reactions in explosions of ozone mixtures with other gases.
