TABLES FOR SIGNIFICANCE TESTS FOR VIRTUAL CLUSTERS.

Abstract

The report contains two sets of tables, and instructions for their use. The first set is concerned with the distribution of nearest neighbors in terms of angular separation, under the hypothesis of random directions. Critical points, .05, .01, and .001 levels are given for 2(1) 70 points and 2(1) 20 dimensions. The second set of tables reports the number of points needed to reach significant overdetermination of virtual clusters, at the .05 and .01 levels of significance. (Author)
