A MODEL OF EXTRAGALACTIC RADIO SOURCES.

Abstract

A model is proposed for the compact bright radio sources ejected from radio galaxies and quasars. It is shown that the model gives good agreement with the characteristic brightness distribution and polarization behavior of these sources. Specific application is made to the radio source Cygnus A.
