Abstract

The document presents a collection of over 600 patents on ceramic fibers and composite materials, which were selected from available listings up to January, 1969. The principal subject matter is concerned with the advanced, high-modulus, high-strength ceramic fibers that are available in continuous lengths (filaments) or as short single crystals (whiskers). Some patents on other fibers, such as glass filaments or metal wires are also included. (Author)
