DESCRIPTION OF INSTRUMENTATION DATA ANALYSIS AND REDUCTION FOR AN ATMOSPHERIC SEEING MONITOR.

Abstract

The report summarizes the results of a study program with three primary objectives: (1) Development of instrumentation to gather data on atmospheric induced stellar image shimmer, (2) record stellar image shimmer data, and (3) perform required data reduction and analysis to determine the nature and characteristics of stellar image shimmer. The report includes a description of the instrumentation and the results of laboratory and field performance evaluation tests. (Author)
