The number of the muskrat was very low in the Novosibirsk region in 1965-66. During the 1965-66 winter, in summer and autumn in 1966 12 local foci of great epizootics of the muskrat were found. It was revealed, that epizootics of two foci were caused by contamination by Omsk haemorrhagic fever. (Author)
