PREDESIGN DATA FOR THE RADAR STEREO EQUIPMENT PROGRAM.

Abstract

The report describes the progress made during the first phase of the radar stereo equipment program. During this phase an analytical approach to stereo plotting was selected and a preliminary design of the equipment was developed. The selected approach involves a stereo comparator for making measurements on the imagery, a general purpose computer to transform image coordinates to map coordinates, and a digital plotter to plot the map contours. Also, a set of equations describing the stereo model was derived and an analysis performed. (Author)
