LIBRARIES AND THE OTHER TRIANGLE UNDER THE DEMAND CURVE

Abstract

A simple theory of library services is presented. The theory was developed as a normative tool to aid libraries in answering the question: which books should be bought by the library. Although developed for normative purposes, the theory generates testable predictions.
