FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS OF ROCKET LAUNCH-PHASE INSPECTION TECHNIQUES. VOLUME I.

Abstract

An investigation into the use of passive, optical techniques for arms control inspection of rocket testing is discussed. The purpose of the program and the approach used are reviewed, and an illustrative actual arms control inspection is described. The work summarized in the report included the fabrication and assembly of a comprehensive, mobile, optical instrumentation system, its use at several missile test ranges for remote (approximately one mile) measurements and the analysis of selected data.
