Steady State Heat Transfer Analysis of 727 'B' Hydraulic System

Abstract

The document contains the procedure for and an example of a hydraulic system heat transfer analysis. Linear equations are used to describe the heat balance in the hydraulic components, and the system of equations are solved on a digital computer. The application of this procedure is currently limited to the prediction of steady state temperatures in systems with constant mass flows. The hydraulic circuit selected for illustration is the 727 'B' Hydraulic System. Actual test data and results obtained in the analysis are compared.
