FATIGUE MECHANISMS, FATIGUE PERFORMANCE AND STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY

Abstract

The work of the Institute was concentrated in three principal areas: Metal physics and micromechanims of fatigue; experimental and theoretical solid mechanics; experimental and theoretical structural integrity and reliability. The principal accomplishments of research workers of the Institute in these three areas are outlined.
