PAPKOVITCH FUNCTIONS IN PROBLEMS OF ELASTICITY.

Abstract

The solutions of two three-dimensional problems of a concentrated force at an interior point in quarter-space with mixed boundary conditions, zero normal displacement and zero shearing stresses, on one half-plane and with a free or fixed second half-plane are given. The solutions express the boundary conditions in terms of Papkovitch functions and use Green's analysis to evaluate these functions. (Author)
