ON THE PROBLEM OF PROCESSING THE RESULTS OF A GRAVIMETRIC SURVEY (K Voprosu ob Obrabotke Rezultatov Gravimetricheskoi s Emki),

Abstract

In gravimetric surveys under mountainous conditions, the values of gravity and its derivatives are obtained at different heights above an ellipsoid of rotation which represents the earth. Therefore, for an easy interpretation of the obtained values, the derivatives of the earth's potential must be reduced to a certain height. The methods used to obtain the gravity values at both the reduction point and points close to it are discussed in this work. (Author)
