PRECISION INTERVAL TIMER TO CONTROL THE OPERATION OF DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT,

Abstract

The precision interval timer consists of a crystal controlled oscillator set to generate 100 KHz, which is then repeatedly divided using bistable circuit blocks. Positive and negative pulse outputs are produced at precisely known time intervals which may be varied from 40 sec. to 0.1 sec. in nine steps. 'Normally open' and 'Normally closed' relay outputs are also available at one tenth the frequency selected above. (Author)
