DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGH SPEED SOLENOID AND DRIVE AMPLIFIER.

Abstract

The report describes the development of a solenoid and drive amplifier capable of rapid operation (1-2 ms) and suitable for operating control valves in high speed pneumatic and hydraulic servo mechanisms. Various drive amplifiers and magnetic materials were used to compare their capabilities for use in high speed device, and a suitable battery power supply has been tested. (Author)
