REVISED PROFILES OF AIR DENSITY AT HEIGHTS OF 130 TO 180 km, FROM THE ORBITS OF 1968-59A AND B.

Abstract

The values of air density obtained by analysing the orbits of the satellites 1968-59A and B have been revised with the aid of new information. The new profiles of density versus height give values of density between 3% and 9% greater than before: this increase is just significant, since the estimated s.d. is 8%. (Author)
