THE CALIBRATION CORRELATION FUNCTION FOR POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT LIQUID METERS.

Abstract

The report presents a correlation function for precessing disc positive displacement oil meters. This correlation will predict the shift in the calibration curve due to differences in fluid conditions with an accuracy of plus or minus 1/2%. The prerequisite is a recent and valid calibration of that meter under known fluid conditions. The analysis and approach presented in this report are applicable to all designs of positive displacement flow meters. (Author)
