SOLAR-GEOPHYSICAL FORECAST AIDS AND DECODE PROGRAMS.

Abstract

The study describes the development of objective aids for predicting flare occurrence and geomagnetic activity and the development of a set of computer programs to decode solar-geophysical codes. The contribution made by magnetic classification and magnetic intensity of sunspots as precursor variables for predicting flare occurrence is investigated.
