DYNAMICS OF THE SOLAR CHROMOSPHERE AND ERUPTIVE PHENOMENA.

Abstract

The present paper concerns the following topics: (1) The study of the quality of the H(alpha) filter used for the observations and the determination of its transmission curve. (2) The photometric structure and the evolutive curves of solar flares at several intensity levels were studied. The evolutive curves have been compared with curves obtained from radio observations at several wavelengths. These flares have been photographed at the Observatory of Athens using the 16cm refractor of the triple heliograph. (3) New observational results are given in the work concerning the fine structure and the dynamic phenomena of the solar chromosphere. The research has been made on high resolution photographs of the solar chromosphere, taken with the 40cm refractor of the National Observatory of Athens. (Author)
