Abstract

The book is a brief survey of the works published in domestic and foreign literature on solid-propellant rockets. The book contains in accessible form the basic data about solid propellants employed abroad as powerful sources of energy in contemporary rocket technology. Described are the compositions of solid-propellants, the peculiarities of their combustion, their energy and mechanical properties and also the manufacturing technology. (Author)
