HEAT EXCHANGE CRISIS DURING BOILING OF A FLOW OF WATER IN A CHANNEL,

Abstract

A qualitative analysis of the influence of moisture content, speed of vapor, mass velocity of flow on critical thermal power of a channel and specific ultimate critical loads is given, along with practical methods of determination of conditions of a crisis under annular flow conditions of a steamwater mixture: empirical methods intended for calculation of specific ultimate loads and critical thermal power of a channel. Conditions of appearance of a crisis in a channel are analyzed during a cosinusoidal heat emission which is characteristic for channels of a nuclear reactor. Total critical thermal power of a channel and flow parameters in the crisis section are calculated. The influence of regime and shape factors on critical thermal power of a channel is examined.
