The Solenoid-Electrostatic Aberdeen Chronograph

Abstract

The report deals with an equipment for measuring projectile velocities by means of which either solenoid coils or electrostatic antennas are used in conjunction with a newly developed master amplifier and power unit together with a standard Aberdeen Chronograph. The report covers in detail the principle of operation of the various elements of the master amplifier and power unit and the description of the entire apparatus.
