METHOD FOR DETERMINING CORRECTIONS FOR THE EFFECT OF HORIZONTAL ACCELERATIONS AND INCLINATIONS,

Abstract

An improved method of determining corrections for the effect of horizontal accelerations and tilting during gravimetric measurements in motion using instruments mounted on a gyro stabilized platform with a pendulum system for corrections is improved. The gyrostabilizer is suspended from a gimbal, the horizontal accelerations of the platform are measured, and the angles of the inclination of the platform and the phase shift are determined. The phase shift is determined from the established experimentally relationships between the inclination angles, the phase shift, and the horizontal accelerations. The correction is determined from the data obtained. (Author)
