POLYMERIZATION OF MALEIC ANHYDRIDE. PROPERTIES AND STRUCTURAL FORMATION OF POLYMALEIC ACID AND ITS SALTS (Polimerizatsiya Maleinovogo Angidrida Svoistva i Strukturoobrazovanie Nolimaleinovoi Kislotl i ee Solei),

Abstract

One of the specifics of polyelectrolytes is the change of the size and form of macromolecules as a function of conditions of the medium resulting from the presence of electrostatic interaction forces between the ionized groups of the polymers. In the present work, a hydrodynamic, electrochemical and structural investigation of polymaleic acid and its salts is presented. (Author)
