DEVICE FOR INVESTIGATING THE MIXING OF GASES IN A TURBOJET BYPASS ENGINE,

Abstract

A description is given of a device used for investigating the mixing gas flows in a turbojet bypass engine. The device contains a mixing chamber and a heater. To increase the measurement range of the jet parameters, an afterburner chamber with variable separators of the main and bypass-duct flows is mounted in the flow passage behind the mixing chamber to regulate the length of the mixing zone.
