YIELD-POINT RING LOAD OF FILLED CIRCULAR CYLINDRICAL SHELLS.

Abstract

The yield-point load was obtained for circular cylindrical shells which are filled with an incompressible fluid and loaded by a ring of pressure at the center. Three kinds of end supports were considered and the yield load was determined for all lengths of the cylinder. The results obtained were compared with solutions for unfilled shells. (Author)
