THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPUTER-DIRECTED TRAINING SUBSYSTEM AND COMPUTER OPERATOR TRAINING MATERIAL FOR THE AIRFORCE PHASE II BASE LEVEL SYSTEM

Abstract

The report describes a study concerned with the design, development and evaluation of an integrated Computer-Directed Training Subsystem (CDTS) for the Air Force Phase II Base Level System. The development and evaluation of a course to train computer operators of the Air Force Phase II Base Level System under CDTS control is also described. Detailed test results for validation of the computer operator course and Formal Qualification testing of the CDTS are presented. Conclusions and recommendations with respect to the current CDTS recommendations for additional capabilities and further implications are discussed.
