DETERMINATION OF TRUNNION REACTIONS OF THE CALIBER 0.50 BROWNING MACHINE GUN, M2, AIRCRAFT (FLEXIBLE), MOUNTED IN THE X-5-K RING SPRING ADAPTER.

Abstract

The trunnion reactions of the Caliber 0.50 B.M.G., M2., A.C. (Flexible), mounted in the Edgewater Steel Company's X-5-K ring spring adapter were determined at normal temperature, by means of piezo-electric gages and the cathode ray oscillograph, when single shots and bursts of three rounds each were fired.
