TRUNNION REACTIONS OF THE 20mm GUN M1, MOUNTED IN THE 20mm GUN ADAPTER T2 (EQUIPPED WITH RUBBER RECOIL SANDWICHES MANUFACTURED BY THE OHIO RUBBER COMPANY).
Abstract
Trunnion reactions of the subject gun and adapter were determined by means of piezo-electric gages and the cathode ray oscillograph. Records of displacement of the gun vs. time were also obtained. Observations on single shots and bursts of three rounds each were made under four test conditions. A brief summary of the test results is given. (Author)
